Purpura WIP

This is something I’m working on in Pixelmator, I am not sure where I am going with this but I’m sure to make something nice out of it.. I finally got the hang of using layers and I figured out how it makes everything so much easier! Though I am still trying to find a way to paint hair nicely, this is really bugging me.. I know the techniques in so far as that I know how it works but it just never looks that nice and professional. My paintings are often quite messy and that is what I should avoid this time.

Anyways.. I am ending this here, my goals for this painting are: making it look a bit more nice and clean than I normally do, using layers correctly and finishing it.

Project doll sketch

This is a first sketch of a concept I have: An incomplete bjd doll with a lively (emotional) realistic face.. or at least that’s the idea, this is kind of a first try-out and I tried to make a good sketch of a ball jointed doll.

Portrait modeldrawing class

This day we didn’t have any models so one of the other people who was doing the course offered to sit for us, this is the result of an exercise in which we had to use three different tones, the middle tone was pottery orange/brown, the dark was charcoal and the light was chalk.
Obviously this wasn’t completely finished.

Right now I don’t have pictures of any of my other drawings but I think I’ll get to that somewhere this month..
